Position Available: Society Chatelaine 

The Society Chatelaine is the officer responsible for coordinating the 
fostering of newcomers and public outreach for the SCA. This officer is a 
deputy to the Society Seneschal. Duties include: 

· Coordinating the efforts of kingdom chatelaines/hospitallers 
· Developing and sponsoring a Member Education Program 
· Developing and maintaining a Knowledgebase for SCA Demos, as well as 
an SCA Demo policy/guidelines document. 
· Performing other duties assigned by the Board or Society Seneschal 
as directed. 

Successful candidates for this position will have demonstrated leadership 
skills, problem solving expertise and experience with project management. 

Applicants should be able to travel to other Kingdoms as necessary, and have 
easy access to phone, mail, and e-mail (e-mail is not required, but is 
highly desirable). An applicant must be a paid member of the Society, and 
must be able to meet quarterly reporting deadlines in a timely manner. 

Though this is an unpaid position, it presents the opportunity to not only 
help shape the future of the Society, but to give something back to an 
organization that has become an important part of so many lives. The 
successful candidate will have the opportunity to help create a lasting 
program which will have long term, positive impact on thousands of 
participants across the world.
