Speaking as 1. a guy, and 2. an unrehabilitated juvenile delinquent, I find that anything I can't cut with one blade or other on my multitool justifies the use of explosives :-)

sigh....mine are sharp enough to cut off fingers and other body parts.
Can't do that with rattan...grin.  I never go anywhere without my garden
shears!  You just never know when you might need them, or when the urge is
just too strong to prune........!
