Another message from the autocrat for the Known World Heraldic and Scribal 
Symposium, to be held the last weekend of June just north of our fair 
kingdom in Harrisburg PA... while they are trying to get the room 
reservation deadline pushed back, right now it is TOMORROW, as in Friday 
the 21st. So if you are planning to go (which I heartily encourage!!!) and 
wish to reserve a room, please follow the instructions below REAL SOON!

Greetings to the list,

There was some concern as a few people were told there are no rooms
available for KWHSS. I've just spoken with the hotel and made my own
reservations. SCA Heralds & Scribes has 'plenty of rooms left' according
to Casey, the very helpful desk clerk.

The "group code" option is not for blocked rooms as is the case with our
event so it is not possible to make reservations on-line and have them
credited.  You must call and make the reservations at (717) 774-2721 under
the group block of SCA Heralds & Scribes.

And, please, if you are planning to come, call now. They do not require a
card number until you check in so long as you make the check-in time of 6
pm. I'm trying to get our cut-off of May 21 (yes tomorrow) extended but
that's no guarantee.

Besides the Penn State group and at least one wedding, there is a huge car
show that weekend and most hotels in the area will be sold out of rooms.

All it takes is a phone call, speak to some very nice polite people, get a
room locked in and it doesn't cost anything but the long distance. Please
pass this note on as is appropriate to herald and scribal types with my
thanks
