Barony of Stierbach



The wars are over for the year. The fighters are returning home after hard fought battles. Now is the time to celebrate with festivities. Come one, come all to the Barony of Stierbach Holiday Faire where shopping is the main activity of the day. There will be merchants aplenty to satisfy the needs of all. 

 

Martial Activities: There will be heavy fighting and target archery for those to fill their time while others are shopping. 



Lunch: will be offered by The Pre-incipient Canton of Abhainn an Iar, price to be determined. 



Pre-reserved Costs:

Adult – Members  $6    

Adult – Non-Members  $9

Children – (6-17)  $3  

Children under 5 – no cost

 

Cost Notes: Merchant admission is $6.00 (or $9.00 non-member) per person. Add $1.00 to adult, adult non-member and merchant admission fees for all non-reserved (at door) admissions.

>From the RT 66: Take the Rt. 234 exit (exit number 44). Turn left onto Dumfries Rd (Business 234), about the 4th red light. Go north about one mile and turn left into the park directly after the National Guard Armory. 

>From the RT 95: South of the Washington, DC beltway: “take RT 234 West exit (exit number 152). Follow on Route 234 about fourteen miles and turn right onto Dumfries Rd (Business 234).  Go north about one mile and turn left into the park directly after the National Guard Armory.

If you are traveling north or south on I-95, you will take Exit 152B to get to the Prince William County Fairgrounds.  Located at this exit are four Hotels.  As you see, prices vary.  There are three restaurants: Montclair Restaurant (local establishment), Cracker Barrel and Waffle House (Chain restaurants) located with-in walking distance of these hotels.  If you travel in the opposite direction on Dumfries Road (Route 234), you will find a McDonalds and several other small restaurants located within a few miles.  As you head towards the Fairgrounds, there will be a few small shopping centers along the way along with several small restaurants/fast food places….i.e., Burger King, Burger Boys, Subway, and local shops.

If you are coming from Route 66, this is the only hotel I have information on which is located in Downtown Manassas –
