[Moo] Sudentorre's Celebration this Sunday - Feb 20th

I was indeed sad to miss it, but illness prevented much venturing from the
house this weekend. :-( I am somewhat consoled to hear that all went well.

Don't forget Sudentorre's celebration at House Wolfhou (Alan and Barbara
Miller) this Sunday, (540-361-7473) 

from 2:30 to 7:30 pm..  Directions can be found at
http://sudentur.atlantia.sca.org/directions.php.  

Weather permitting, there will be archery and thrown weapons practice as
usual.  If you want to do a little 

heavy fighting, there is more than enough space. 

 

If you prefer to stay indoors, there is plenty of activity available.  If
you have a project your working on, 

go ahead and bring it--rumors of a visitor and her spinning wheel might be
visiting.   We have a group of 

gamers who are happy to have new victims, er....players join in.  There are
sewing machines upstairs 

that have not seen much action in the last month or so.  

 

Just come and celebrate with Sudentorre!!

 

We are having a pot-luck dinner, served around 6 pm, and if you would like
to bring a dish to share, 

it does not have to be "a period style dish" but should provide for 6-8
people.  Dietary concerns, 

please label any dishes that contains milk, cheese, or nuts (all kinds).  We
will have ice tea (sweet 

and un-sweet) available. 

 

The menu so far:

Roast pork Loin -- grilled

Rump Roast -- baked  **NEW**

Seasoned Potato chunks

Green Bean Casserole

Orange Glazed Sweet potatoes

Bake Beans

Breads

Rumors of cookies - many kinds

 

 

If you can't afford to bring a contribution then be a part of the setup and
cleanup crew. 

But plan tocome and celebrate this great occasion.
