[Moo] Sapphire Joust Encampment 2006

Greetings to all!

I have volunteered to organize a "Barony of Stierbach" encampment at this year's Sapphire joust event, held by the Barony of Caer Mear to our south over Memorial Day weekend.  If you would like to help organize things, let me know - I'd be happy to make it a team with someone.

If you are interested in camping with the Baronial Encampment at Sapphire Joust, you should pre-register for the event.  Details are not available yet from the Kingdom webpage, but you can find information here: http://www.geocities.com/sapphirejoust/.  You should complete the pre-registration form for the event available from that site and send it in with your check.  The cost goes up May 1, 2006, so now is the time to send in your registration!

Once you have pre-registered for the event, send me an e-mail to this address: kathrynsnead at adelphia.net.  Let me know who will be camping, and what kind and size of tent you will bring.  That way, we'll know to save enough space for you!

This event is always a lot of fighting and a lot of fun.  The site they moved to last year was beautiful, and they'll be back at the same place this year.  It's also a good practice event for Pennsic.  I hope to see a lot of folks there!
