If anyone has a gas powered-eater with a metal blade on it instead of a string cutter, that would be nice too. It will make short work of the little saplings.... cutting down the little trees and the undergrowth BEFORE the leaves come out, will reduce the manhours next month for the next phase of site prep.

If you own a pair of leather gloves, bring them.

With 3 chainsaws and a dozen people, you will get a lot of work done in a couple of hours.

Subject: [Watchtower] Working Parties for Baronial Birthday Site Prep

  Greetings Stierbach,

Caristina and I have conducted an initial site survey this morning to get a feel for what work lies ahead to prepare the Site for Baronial B-Day. I am looking for any volunteers to some out tomorrow, Sunday, 09Apr at 1pm. If you can't make it, not to worry, there wil be other opportunities. For anyone who feels REALLY industrious, I will be out on site about 10am. I know its Palm Sunday.

If you can make it, please bring any tools and lawn/garden equipment you have availible. We will need chainsaws, pruning sheers of all sizes from hand size to super bolt cuttering size. But most importantly we willing vounteers to move stuff.

I don't plan to be out on sunday for more than a few hours, but I will stay as long as there are good baronial folk to help. The more we can accomplish in the early stages, the less we will have to do come event day.

The first priority of work is to clear about 4 dead and downed trees to expand the fighting area.

Second Priority (but con be accomplished at the same time with enough help) is clearing away brush and saplings that are tripping hazzards.

Now I know your are going to ask: Yes, Mr. Miller came out with us this morning and has authorized any work to the site to make it safe and fun. All he wants from us is, if we open a gate close it behind you. He would like to keep his cows.

If you can make it please contact me off list at this email.

  Thank you in advance.

Directions: Use your best route to Exit 130 (Route 3) and head west for about 10 miles. Turn left on Orange Plank Rd. Once you hit the 10 mile mark slow down a bit because the turn sneeks up on you. Follow Orange Plank Rd for just over 5 miles. The Miller's farm is on the right. Go past the farm to the next intersection and turn right. Make the next right onto the dirt road. This is the enterance to site.
