[Moo] Seeking a Nanny Position

Greetings onto the Barony of Stierbach! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Julienne fille Gaspard, mundanely known as Jewel Gaspard. Currently residing in the Barony of Marinus, in the mundanian city of Chesapeake, VA, working as a nanny. In August of this year, I will be moving on to the land claimed by the Barony of Stierbach (hopefully) or a nearby land, as my two-year contract ends at that time. I would absolutely love to work next with a Scadian family, and thus I write to all those on the Moo.
    I have always thoroughly enjoyed working with children. I have babysat for many families, starting at the age of thirteen. My current position is my first official nanny job, but as I have said, the contract ends in August, and at that time I will not be renewing. I dearly love this family and enjoy working with them, but as my charge is getting older, he is gaining independence, and no longer requires a nanny to care for him. I wish to continue working as a nanny, and thus do I send out this message to offer myself for interview and possible employment.
I think I would most enjoy working with a Scadian family because a shared interest is the first step to a comfortable and happy relationship. Also, it would provide a better fit, as I would be very willing and able to attend events with the family to help watch and care for the children. I have been a member of the SCA since October of 2004, and truly delight in living the dream.I would be willing to work with children ages 2 and up, and would also be willing to do light housework, and attend SCA and mundane events on-duty with the family. I will be available for work starting after Pennsic, unless the family will be at Pennsic and will wish for me to start there. I would not mind one bit! Also, I would request that this be a job of at least six months in length, and be a live-in position.  I have experience with twins and single-parent families, and am CPR and first aid certified.
