Does anyone happen to know if there was a particular 

badge associated with pilgrimage to St Roche (Rocco) 

in Venice? I can identify his iconography (it's easy, 

he's the pilgrim with a plague scar on his leg and a 

doggie at his feet) but can't figure out if there was 

an appropriate pilgrim's sign.
