[Moo] Cub Scout demo, Thursday, June 28

Greetings to one and all,

I had sent out word previously of the possibility of doing a demo for
cub scouts in June.  It appears, at this time, that this demo will be
Thursday, June 28, for a half hour period during their lunch.  The
location is Loudoun County Fairgrounds, and the audience will be
approximately 450 cub scouts.

I plan to be there myself, concentrating on late Elizabethan period.
I'll probably bring out a long schlager, but do not plan to do actual
fencing (though if we have some rapier folks who would like to come
out?).

I haven't heard much from the heavy fighting community, but if we
could get two people available, it would be great.  Archery or thrown
weapons would also be greatly loved by the kids.  This will follow
their lunch period, and we'd like to have something exciting to put
together.

Please let me know if you can make it--I have had three replies so
far, and would like to see if we can't put together a slightly bigger
show than that.  If you can't make it, but think that you have
something to donate, please let me know.
