Greetings all,
May I add directions to Wakefield School... it is at 4439 Old Tavern Rd,
The Plains, VA 20198. Old Tavern Rd is VA 245. It is just north of I 66. The
Plains is the town east of Marshall (between Centerville and Winchester. And
now that I have confused the issue, maps and mapquest is a good thing.
I will be bringing a large rug for the pavillion, and red pennants to fly
from the pavilion. Are a table and maybe some chairs coming? I will have
tablecloths too, and board games in case, and other stuffs.... See folks friday,
and a good day will be held by all.
Question too, I will have the canton scrap book of things we have done, and
canton business cards. Is there a Baronial scrape book with pictures, and
maybe some information flyers in case any of the youths wish additional SCA
info?

For those wonderful gentles who have signed up to do the Wakefield School
Demo tomorrow, this is the plan:
We have planned two activities - a "static" demo consisting of needle and
fiber arts and of archery, which will be manned by Lady Blitha, Lady
Cairistiona, Baron Colum and myself, which begins at 4 p.m. It is our intent to take
our pavillion out and set it up to lend atmosphere.
The second activity is a heavy fighting demo by Lord Ragnar and Lord Loric.
That is scheduled to begin at 4:45 p.m. and run until 5:45 p.m.
We have about 120 kids in grades 3, 6, and 8, plus their parents. They have
a number of other activities going on, including a Search for the Holy Grail.
Please contact me by phone (571-643-5531)if you are not able to come, or if
you weren't signed up but would like to participate.
