I was privileged to get my hands on a review copy of this book. It is a must-have for anyone who is even vaguely interested in the use and/or construction of the astrolabe, related instruments, astronomy/astrology of the period, or just looking for a fascinating read. As far as I know, this is the ONLY detailed reference currently available in the English Language.
