[Moo] Stained Glass Class

Greetings to the lists,

 

Many of you may remember me mentioning a while back that my Pelican, who
is also a Laurel in Stained Glass from the Middle Kingdom, would be here
for a visit in May.  Mistress Kirsten Thorstiensdottir will be here on
the evening of Thursday May 15 if anyone would like to get together for
a stained glass class.  Sir Ragnarr Arnbjornson, her husband, will also
being bring his heavy and rapier gear if anyone is interested in getting
together for an impromptu practice.  They will only be in the
Fredericksburg area this one evening.  The next morning they will be
continuing north to do more sight seeing.

 

If you are interested in getting together for a class or fighting please
let me know ASAP.  Kirsten would like to know what types of things you
all would be interested in.  She has a lecture together on how to
research period techniques and pick apart extant stained glass, she
could teach basic glass painting, simple lead came techniques, or
anything else you would like to know.  She needs to know by the end of
this week however so that she can get supplies and handouts together.  

 

As of right now there is no set location.  If there are only a few
people interested the class will most likely be here.  However I will
let everyone know if I have to get a space somewhere else (or ask around
if anyone wants to volunteer an area).
