If it is desired, I can help with organizing the camp at Sapphire Joust. I  
have to work on friday though, so will not be able to come until saturday  
morning, or extremely late on friday.

I was asked this weekend by a member of the populace if we  would have a 
Sapphire Jouse encampment for the barony this year. I think the  answer will be 
yes, but we are looking for a leader to organize the camp and  work with our 
baronial steward to check out needed gear. Typically, the  activity is pretty 
low-key. 
    *   Work with Baronial Steward to check out any necessary gear (propane,  
stoves, camp fly, etc.)  
    *   Show up Friday to make sure everyone settles in nicely and set up a  
common area.   
    *   There are usually one or more pot luck meals. (See if there is 
interest  and determine what makes sense beforehand so people can set expectations  
correctly.)  
    *   Ensure any baronial gear is packed out and returned to the locker  in 
a timely fashion.
In addition, Their Excellencies have asked if it would be possible for  the 
barony to have a field presence this year for a hospitality tent. Setting  this 
up may or may not be part of encampment organization, but I would request  to 
know the intent of the volunteer as early as possible.
 
When you preregister for Sapphire Joust, use the encampment name "Barony  of 
Stierbach".
