That was a truly excellent event, hosted by the Shire of Eisental and
masterminded by our good friends Matsuyama Mokurai and Anne-Liese
Wolkenhaar.  It was the finest example of a Japanese period feast that
we have ever seen .

It was also the event where I first fell in love with the gentleman in
the picture...and we know how that turned out.  :)
