[Moo] Storm damage update from Sudentorre

Glad to hear that you caught it young! Grahnia and Charles also had water  in 
their basement I learned. Ya'll enjoy CA, and we will look forward to hearing 
 all about it in June!

Glad to  hear everyone down south is safe and sound. We fought the flood at 
our  place Monday night. Our storm drain, in the back yard, clogged  up and the 
water started to flow onto the deck and into the house. The  girls and I 
caught it in time. Using a hose for a snake we unclogged the drain  and pushed all 
the water away from the house. We must install a larger drain  pipe!!

Dale Blvd. is closed near us due to a small side stream  overflowing and 
washing out the road. It causes only a minor detour for  us.

The girls and I leave tomorrow for the western desert  lands (Bishop CA) so 
we will see everyone in June. We are looking forward to  warm, dry desert 
weather.
