Good day to one and all,

Holiday Faire is fast approaching. Our weather oracles are calling
for partly sunny conditions with a high in the low 40s. Nice, cool
weather for outdoors activities.

For those of us who would like to be active between rounds of
shopping, martial activities will be held under the supervision of
most skilled marshalls. Below is the planned schedule of those
activities. As usual, times are approximate and might change given
the availability of participants and marshalls; please check on site.

For Rapier, Lord Dante Di Pietro, MIC-Rapier
- Authorization and inspections are to start as the MOL tent opens,
around 10:30 and can continue throughout the day
- The Academie D'espee Provost Challenge is to begin at 11:00 and
contunue until they drag the last two standing fencers off the field
by force.

For Armored Combat, Lord Ragnar Ribcracker:
- Field to open around 11:00 with authorizations and inspections as
marshalls are available
- Activities including a single elimination great weapons tourney,
double elimination speed tourney (bring your best) will go on until
about 3:00pm. The last 30 minutes will be there for pickups and/or
training;

For Thrown Weapons, Lord Allen of Wolfhou:
- Range will open around 10:30, as soon as setup is complete
- Contest will start around noon
- The range will be closed after the contest to allow throwers to
shoot and/or shop.

And of course, it would not be a Stierbach event without a good
archery shoot. This one is under the supervision of Lady Esperanza
Susanna Flecha.
- Inspections start at 11:30, with the competition starting at 12:30
- The now traditional Turkey Shoot will be held immediately following
the competition (around 2:30).

Help me thank the marshalls for their effort in preparing these
activities by showing up in great numbers.

Show off your skills; Improve your skills; Discover a new activity;
Have fun with friends old and new.

In service,

Lord Alexandre de Tourouvre,
MIC, Stierbach Holiday Faire
