[Moo] Canton of Sudentorre's Demo

A great big Thank you to Sir Cian, Sir Richard, Lord Allen of Wolfhou, and Lady Blitha of Wolfhou for coming out to the Dog Mart Event sponsored by the Izaak Walton League in Spotsylvania County, VA.

It was very warm and humid and because the weather was very shaky and threaten to rain all morning. It looked like no one was going to come out to the Dog Mart.  By mid morning people started to show up and the demo was on.  

The kids were thrilled with holding Sir Richard's Helmet, Sir Cian's sword, and Lord Allen's shield.  The kids were interested and could not wait for the fighting to start.  The kids were quick to ask questions, followed by their parents.  The three fighters took turns entertaining the crowds.

In between the fighting demo, people came over to the display area to ask about the clothing, archery, leather work, weaving and Lady Blitha taught the kids how to play 9 Man Morris.  We passed out several pamplets with info on the SCA.

It was a very good day all in all.
