[Moo] Demo / Practice

Greetings to the Barony!

 

On Sunday May 31st there has been scheduled a Kingdom Equestrian
practice at the home of Lady Alienor de Bathe and Lord Reinmar the
Alchemist.  This is very exciting for the Northern Canton and they have
been working very hard to make the equestrian community in Northern
Virginia thrive.  However, they need more help.  Especially since there
will be quite a few newcomers to the SCA at this activity.

 

She and the Canton of Abhainn Iarthair, along with the equestrian
community, have scheduled a series of practices and would like to
encourage anyone interested in learning about all aspects of the
equestrian activities to come on out.  You do not need a horse, or know
how to ride to help out.  There are many jobs that need to be done and
the more people who are trained to do them the better.

 

Practices in Abhainn Iarthair are:
May 31, 2009 11 am to 6 pm
Aug 23, 2009 11 am to 6 pm 
Oct 25, 2009 11 am to 6 pm
Nov 22, 2009 11 am to 6 pm

your questions.  Please let her know if you are coming as they are
having a BBQ and need to know how many to cook for!

 

Unfortunately it looks like Flaithri and I may not be able to attend
this practice, but hope that many of you will be able to go, enjoy
yourself and eat very good BBQ.
