If you enjoy participating in or watching heavy fighting then this was
the event for you.  There were seven tournaments to fight in and more
than eighty heavy fighters to fight against.  While I had fun in all
of the tournaments, especially the Rose Tourney held in honor of
Duchess Arielle, my personal favorite was the St. Aiden Team Tourney.

For the St. Aiden Team Tourney we fielded a joint team with Tir-y-Don,
immediately christened Stier-a-Don, which consisted of four Stierbach
heavy fighters, including our Baron.  Two  Tir-y-Don worthies,
including their Baron, joined us.  While we did not carry the field
that day you could easily identify the Stier-a-Don team’s position by
the number of slain enemy combatants.  No one was able to face us and
remain unscathed.

We were by far the best pick up team on the field. With a bit of
practice I am sure we would have been contenders for the prize.  I
think the entire team had a very good time. I know our cheering
section was actively supporting the fighters on the field.  When you
can hear the Stier-a-Don war cry being yelled even whilst laying about
you with a polearm, you know your  support section is excited.
