[Moo] [Watchtower] wakefield demo schedule

I am planning on coming to the demo and bringing the box of board games and a rug to sit on. (Bubba is not going to make it) I was thinking on leaving fredericksburg between 11:30 and noon. But I am also torn between going north for the demo, or helping Graihne with the packers and the move. Are there others that can take up the slack if I am not there?

Below is a tentative time-table of events for the Medieval Faire and Banquet on Thursday.

 

2pm – official opening – remarks by Troy

2:15pm – scavenger hunt for 3rd and 6th grade students. The hunt will be supervised by 8th grade students

2:35pm – apple bobbing, egg and spoon races, corn hole on the upper level senior garden

3:05pm – demonstrations of handicrafts/hand-to-hand combat by members of SCA

4:15pm – medieval banquet; order of serving to be 3rd, 6th, 8th grades, SCA guests, fa
culty and then guests (judging of castles/costumes/shields)

5pm – award of prizes for best castle, best 3rd/6th/8th grade costumes, best 3rd/8th grade shields, scavenger hunt winners (3rd grade team + 6th grade team)

5:15pm – clean up

5:45pm – dismissal in time to catch late buses/pick up by parents

 

Please understand that the times quoted above are just for guidance. I fully expect that things will change, hopefully by not too much.

 

I’d like to borrow your microphone to use in the lower gym for the prize giving please.

 

In the event of inclement weather, we’ll do our best to move everything into the lower gym at 2pm. It will be VERY chaotic though if that happens. So please, all of you, pray for fine weather.
