Hey, folks,

My friend over in Midrealm forwarded me this e-mail from some folks in
Illinois who need to find homes for these horses quick. If you all could
pass this along to anyone you think might be interested, would be greatly
appreciated.

I have the following details on the horses at present:

They have 16 or 17 horses, some paints, QH crosses and a Standardbred. A
few are broke, word is all have been well handled. Many will likely need
farrier care. She has some as young as 3-5 years old, most are a little
older, though none that are very old. I will (hopefully) be in touch with
the owner proper tomorrow and will get as much detail as possible. I do have
the owner's name and phone # - if anyone wants it, please send me an e-mail
or give me a call at 434.227.9710 or 434.248.5261.

Greetings to the Middle Bridge

Some of you may know me - most wont. But I do apoligize for an off topic
thread. Please dont reply to this in a way that clogs up the net. Feel
free to forward it though.

I live up in the north west corner of illinois and I have a neighbor that
was doing equine rescue - then they got unemployed and cant take care of the
horses they adopted. They have gotten over their heads themselves and the
Ag Dept told them Monday Morning that they have to get rid of horses within
48 Hrs. If you or someone that you know would be willing to adopt a horse -
please call me ASAP. I will get you in touch with them. I could probably
take the horse(s) in with ours for a short time if that would help in this
matter - I just cant take more myself at this time.
