You should have a sign up list, so that we can all behold the vision of 'mother' leading a line of twenty something ducklings to classes. When are you coming to pick mine up?

East Kingdom list now has a letter forwarded from Mistress Chai stating that the rule has been tweaked to allow "a "guardian"--*which is defined for our purposes as a responsible adult designated by the the parent* *to attend the class* with the youth."

So, my offer stands - I'll be happy have Megan accompany me to class - particularly if it's wireweaving, lucet or any of a number of other classes where her skills far outshine my pitiful attempts. Same goes for Tuppence and Cambria.

"New this Pennsic: no youth under the age of 18 may attend activities in an A&S venue without a parent or legal guardian. "

As a parent of a 15 year old, as a Laurel, and as a member of the SCA for 25 years, I have extreme problems with this change.

I am holding further comment for now.
