This summer the Atlantian archery/atlatl community can participate in the Atlantian Seasonal Archery Challenge.  The challenge is described below.  Information can also be found at: http://www.scores-sca.org/home/index.php?R=2 under Seasonal Challenge.  We encourage all archers and atlatlists to participate whether you be beginner or accomplished archer.


Circle Shoot:2010 Summer Seasonal Challenge

Shot at 20 yards

Placeone 8” circle in the center of the target.
Place5 other 10” circles 6" from the edge of the middle circle - like thespokes of a wheel. (Measured edge to edge)

Round 1: 12 arrows/bolts
Outsidecircles count 2 pts. (Multiple hits count) and the inside circle counts 5pts.  The center circle can only be scored after hitting all 5 outsidecircles.  Maximum points 45.

Round 2: Timed end, 45 seconds with the same scoring.

Divisions:          AdultCrossbow, Adult Handbow
                        YouthCrossbow, Youth Handbow,
                        Atlatl


Highest Scores Win


This Challenge does not have to be shot at an official event or practice, but an Archery Marshal must be present to witness and submit scores. You can shoot and submit up to two scores a day between June 25th and September 5th. Scores must be in by September 12th, 2010.
