The coordinator states that there are no "categories" per say. That is just the way she clumped things together. You can enter 5 things from one category, this is not like the KASF pentathlon where you have to have to have at least 3 categories. You can enter 5 things from any of her divisions with no requirement to have a variety.
I would check with her (or Heloise do you know as out A&S liaison) but from reading this it sounds like you could do 5 of one "type" of item if you so chose.

Have been considering it, though I am vexed with the layout of the
categories.
There are 3 seperate categories for fiber type arts, and yet
leatherwork, woodwork, and metalwork are all lumped in the same
category, makes it difficult for me to get all the categories in arts I
am comfortable with.

A&SCompetition for War of the Wings
This year for the A&S Competition, there will something different
apentathlon. Please watch for any updates to the war of the wings web
site. Whenthe event gets closer, I will also be posting links for
registration forms sothat we can speed up the check in process. Please

The Pentathlon
The categories are grouped here solely for my convenience. The groups
have noother meaning. Pentathlon participants must enter in five
categories -regardless of the groupings. So, for example, entries in
Costuming and Headwearwould count as two categories for the Pentagon.
