The Barony of Stierbach is having its annual Silent Auction
to raise funds that support Barony's events throughout the year. The Silent
Auction needs YOUR help to provide treasures for the populace to bid upon and
buy.
Do you have any of these?
fabric
that you'll never get around to sewingjewelry
for personas that belong in your pastgarb
that you don't usearmor
that's been replaced with something more shinybooks
for research that you no longer refer tocamping
furniture that just doesn't fit your needs anymore
Clean our your closets! Clean out your garage! Clean off
your bookshelves! All we ask is that you please keep your donations within the
broad context of SCA themes.
Donate your much-loved but no-longer-needed treasures to
help fund the Barony of Stierbach in 2011.
This year the Silent Auction is being run by Basilio the Mad
Monk. His treasures are INSANE! Contact Basilo (basilwhite at basilwhite.com) and
let him know what you plan to donate to the Silent Auction so that he can plan
for enough auction space at the event. Bring your treasures on the day of the
event. (The Silent Auction will be in the building that does not contain the
merchants.)
If you would like to donate something and cannot attend the
event, please contact Master Richard Wymarc (wymarc at hotmail.com) who can
house your treasures now.
When and Where:
Holiday Faire is Saturday, November 20, at the Prince
William County Fairgrounds in Manassas, Virginia. See the event website for
more information. http://www.stierbach.org/events/holidayfair/holiday.php
The Silent Auction will begin receiving donations at 9:00
a.m. Bidding begins at 10:00 a.m. Bidding ends at 3:00 p.m., pickup starts no
later than 3:30, and ends at 4:30 so as not to interfere with Court.
We thank you for your support!
