[Moo] [Watchtower] Demo for Bull Run Library

I can plan to be there on July 12 (I don't think that will be Vacation Bible School week, but if it is, an evening Demo would be better. One in the early afternoon would make it difficult for me to get to on time. VBS would be in the morning. I just don't know which week in July it will be...)

I can bring my game boards to teach and play on (3 man moris, 9 man morris, 12 man morris, Alquerque, fox and geese, fierges, henetafl, game of goose, and shut the box.. I do have some card stock boards of the morris games printed off with the directions. The kids can color them if they wish, and take them home to play with. dried beans make good markers.

A suggested advertizing for board games could be: "In the Viking and Medieval times, folks young and old played various board games to while away an evening, or even to decide who was a better tactician. Come learn some of these games."

Dance also can do well. Do a dance as demo, then introduce them to the Maltese Brawl is a good start...

Thanks Briana.

I was planning to talk to Blitha about her game boards and thinking maybe we
could have the kids make those to take with them. An activity for after the
fighting demo if we can get enough fighters.

It isn't actually the library where we have the meeting. It is another one in
Manassas but it would still be nice if we supported them.

I was thinking an evening demo would work better. The slot is from 7-9. But if
people would prefer we could do a 1 - 3 slot instead.
