Mistress Blitha came up from Sudentorre and did a show-and-tell on 
costuming from Roman to Elizabethan times, with the assistance of a 
slideshow and selected pieces of garb. Other attendees were Baron Mors, 
and Reinmar and Alienor.

Inventorying and evaluation of Abhainn Iarthair Gold Key has been 
postponed to the next Canton meeting, which should be at Reinmar & 
Alienor's on July 8. (This makes it easier on them, too, as they don't 
have to lug all that garb.)

Next Canton activity will be a Dance Practice in Front Royal on Sunday, 
July 1. There is talk of grilled meat and other fun things.

The theme for the next Open House will be "Fun With Cords" - knotwork, 
braiding, cardweaving, kumihimo, anything that can be done with light to 
medium weight cords (#10 crochet cord to parachute cord). This is 
tentatively scheduled for July 29 and may possibly also be a "Pennsic 
Pity Party".
