For anyone who wonders what the Board of Directors is and how it works,
this is a great article on the recent BoD meeting up in Boston.  For anyone
who thinks that this is some kind of shadowy club of figures from far away,
please be aware that they come from all over the Knowne World: Countess
Denise Duvalier, OP, lives here in Northern Virginia, and she and her
husband have long been active in both local and Kingdom business.

Members can also apply to receive the minutes from the BoD meetings so you
can keep up to what is happening at the Society level.

While the strength of the SCA lies in its local groups and membership,
there is much that happens on the Society level to help protect the
organization and keep it together.
