[Moo] To Make Ottoman garb for 12th Night

Greetings to all!

We have been talking about Ottoman Garb, since 12th Night this year is Ottoman themed, and is so close in Washington DC . But we don't know how to make it... oh so sad... :(

But wait! We have Caradawc in our Canton and Barony who does an Ottoman Persona! We have discussed times for a class, and there will be a class on Men's Ottoman Garb on Sunday, Sept 22, starting about 3pm, at House Wolfhou! He will put up his handout about a week before the class (attached to an email, so be looking) so you can download and print and be looking over the information. We are looking to learning about this style of Garb, and hopefully patterning.

I will try to put together what I can and be teaching on makingWomen's Ottoman Garb, on Sunday, Oct 20, about 3pm, at House Wolfhou.  And we will make patterns also.

(PS, if you REALLY are not interested in Ottoman Garb, there will be the regular archery, thrown weapons, and atlatl practices in the back yard, assuming there are also Marshals out there and not filling their brains with neat new garb ideas. There will also be food and drinks. Potluck dishes are welcome... And if you are new to the SCA or to our area, come and be welcome, and have fun with us!)
