Some of the A&S information from Unevent! Kingdom A&S is coming up in March so there's still time to prep for it. Feel free to email me at faoiltighearna at gmail.com with any questions.

>From the Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences:
The main event is the Open A&S Display. This is where people from all over the Kingdom come to show off their stuff and is a great way to get comments and constructive criticism as well as meet other artisans and see what they're doing.

Classes will be held throughout the day. Contact the event steward if you would like to teach something.

Multiple competitions will, also, be going on, including several that happen every year, such as:

Persona Pentathlon - This competition is sponsored by the Order of the Laurel and requires entrants to submit 5 separate entries all relating to one persona. See moas.atlantia.sca.org/forms.htm for details. NOTE: The date (7 Feb) that is listed on this page is incorrect. The correct date is 7 Mar. Persona Triathlon - This is the Youth version of the pentathlon, also sponsored by the Order of the Laurel for children 17 years old and younger. Only 3 entries are required, all relating to one persona. Royal Baker - Their Majesties will be choosing a new Royal Baker to serve Them for the next year. This is a Kingdom Notable position. Royal Brewer - This is also a Kingdom Notable position that lasts for one year. Baronial Champions Competition - Each Barony sends its chosen artisan to compete for Baronial Bragging Rights. Gyrth Oldcastle Memorial Smackdown - Like a wrestling match, but with poetry, this is a really fun competition. Details for these and other competitions can be found on the KASF website: kasf.atlantia.sca.org.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While the site has a policy prohibiting outside food and drink, this does NOT apply to displays and competitions. The Royal Baker/Royal Brewer competitions will take place, and you may still display your food and drink arts in the Open Display or compete with them in other competitions.
