Greetings all!

Ruby Joust will be held in Amelia VA from May 23-26 (Memorial Weekend). Lord Allen of Wolfhou has volunteered to organize Stierbach's encampment.

The registration process has changed this year. After you register for Ruby Joust, you will need to contact Lord Allen that you are going to camp with Steirbach, and with your tent sizes (with 3ft for ropes added). He then contacts the Ruby Joust lsnd agent with how many are camping with our Barony, and how much land we need.

Many have already registered, and some have not yet done so. For those who have not pre-registered yet, please do so soon. All who have registered, and who will be preregistering, please contact Lord Allen at allenofwolfhou at yahoo.com as soon as possible, so he can compile the measurements and numbers of people camping, and can get all submitted to the Ruby land agent!

I have been asked to organize a meal plan for those interested in it. Having discussed various methods & menus with folks, the menu is planned to be:

Friday supper: on your own.

Saturday breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast, english muffins, OJ, tea, coffee, butter, jam...

Saturday lunch: sandwiches on lunch meats, sliced cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, mustard, chips, fruit cups, vitamin water zero, water...

Saturday dinner: a potluck with all in Stierbach's base camp and equestrian camp, and other friends at Ruby. This can be followed with song and stories around the campfire...

Sunday breakfast: pancakes, butter, syrup, sausage, OJ, V8, box milks & almond milk, teas & coffee...

Sunday lunch: sandwich/salad makings and drinks like on Saturday lunch...

Sunday dinner: tacos & burritos (beef, blsck beans, salsa, cheese, olives, lettuce,  tomatoes,  sour cream, corn chips, flour tortillas) and drinks

Monday breakfast: bagels, muffins, other leftovers.

Labor arrangements are that each person should sign up for prep or cleanup of a meal, and everyone needs to sign up for some other camp chore (trash out, refilling water coolers...). I will get a chart out when I get onto my computer (not the tablet)...

When I priced all the foods (sat breakfast & lunch, sun breakfast & lunch & dinner, and mon breakfast), ice, drinks, and paper goods (plates, silverware, papertowels, cups, trash bags), it comes to $20 per adult and $10 per child 8 and under. I am guessing maybe a camp of 30 peoples. Let me know if you would like to join in with the meal plan! My email is blithaofwolfhou at yahoo.com

Hope to hear from you soon,
Blitha of wolfhou
