This month we will meet on the 6th of September 11 am EST in Warrenton Virginia for the monthly Baronial Arts and Sciences gathering! This month's gathering will begin with Lady Violetta Catalina de Bretaingne's class, SCA Appropriate Fabrics: A Field Guide. Participants will get to take home a sample book and the class teaches the burn testing of fabric and how to handle the variety of fabrics as well as where to get them.
No supplies are necessary for this class other than an open mind and the willingess to say "burn it" when you have something questionable. Also if you have any odd fabrics that you are unsure of, or might be wondering if it was mislabeled, this is a good time to dig it out!

Our gracious hostess will be Lady Aine ingen Comyn. There is plenty of room, though an allergy alert, there are cats so please take any needed medications. Also, there will be a potluck after so as usual, when bringing for potluck, please remember to mark ingredients for those who may have allergies. Feel free to bring other A&S things you are working on as well)
