I forward this to ensure all in our Great Barony receive the information concerning the Stierbach Encampment at Pennsic. John and Freug (Michelle has picked a name!) have a very busy spring and early summer leading up to Pennsic, so they are trying most diligently to get all the ducks, cows and deer in a row well in advance. Please reply to their questions as soon as possible.
Also note, there are several large items that need to get to the Pennsic Camp and some to get back(a new camp fridge unit, big white, the baronial kitchen tent...), and if you have space and can help get them to Pennsic landgrab weekend, that would be tremendously appreciated! Let John and Freug know!
And on the note of meal plans, having  a plan for dinners and a plan for breakfasts seemed to work. Both are separate, but operate on the same premise. All who wish to be on  the breakfast and/or dinner mealplan, let me know. I will also collect allergies and food requirements so cooks can plan in a way that you will have food that you can eat. All who wish to be on a mealplan will be divided up into a group, and will have 1 meal you are responsible for. Your group decides the menu for that meal, purchases the food, cooks it, and cleans up afterwards. Breakfasts need to be ready by about 8am, so folks can be out by 9amish to muster and to class. Dinners  target serving about 6pm ,since this works as a good block of time between battles and classes, and  before concerts and parties. At their Excellencies whim, dinner on the evening of Stierbach Baronial Court will probably again be a potluck for all from the Barony invited, with a mealplan group preparing something and overseeing setup and cleanup. The exact dates of meals we will do has not been determined. In the past, most are arriving friday evening, so if this is again the case, dinner meal plan will probably begin then. Usually there is not a regular dinner mealplan on the night of Atlantian Court and Midnight madness since on those nights, folks tend to want to eat out with other friends. Contact me directly  at blithaofwolfhou at yahoo.com  if you wish to be on either meal plan, and any allergies or food requirements you have, and if there are certain folks you wish to be grouped with, or if there are certain days you are particularly anxious to cook or not available to cook. I will try to work it for you so that all get fed!-Blitha of Wolfhou

Subject: Pennsic Registration For Stierbach Baronial Camp

You have one month's time before pre-registration closes on June 17th. If you are camping with the Barony in our usual spot in N-Block, we need to know soonest if you are planning on camping with us, your tent dimensions, number of people who will be camping (for the food plan preparations) as well as are you camping peace week, war week, or both, please
The food plans will be in place once again this year (thank you, again, Blitha)
If you are not pre-reg'd, we will not have available space for you to camp. Pre-registration ensures you not only have a place to rest your head (inside a tent) but there is room for the camp as well
If your tent is more than the 250 sq ft, please register enough people &/or ghosts to cover for your tent's size (overhangs do count for square footage, this includes rain flies as well). Square footage for tents is defined as the entire area of a tent from the maximum reach of a tent's stakes all around; in some cases, tent stakes may overlap due to tetris planning
Any excess square footage will be used for communal area/fire pit, the kitchen area/tent & big white, so extra ghosts are always a plus
To those of you who are currently residing outside of the Barony, have camped with us in the past & are old friends, you must have a sponsor to camp with the Barony of Stierbach for Pennsic. The Baron, Baroness, Seneschal & Land Agent(s) will interview you & approve at their behest
Please note: The 2015 Land Agents, Freug the Herbalist & John the Brewer, will be unavailablefor the time of June 15-June 30, hence we are trying to pre-plan earlier this year, as that time of year is a critical time for Pennsic planning and camp arrangements. Email may be checked, but not in the usual timely manner as usual, so please note if you need to get us dimensions, have questions or concerns, it may be a day or two for a reply, so please plan accordingly
