[Moo] Game of Thrones Day at Dragon Hops Brewery, Purcellville, VA

Greetings all,
I share this, a copy of the letter I rec'd too late to bring up at our
Baronial Business Meeting last night, but it will add more info should
there be any interest!  If so, logistics and Marshals will be needed, i
believe...

My good Lord Baron and Baroness and Chatelaine of Steirbach,


Let me introduce myself. My name is Baer O'Maoilriain of House Blackspear.
I am of their old guard. I have recently come off several years rest and
I'm ready to play again. I have spoken to you, my Lord Baron Saphir, at the
All Things Authorization event before Pennsic and I believe my Chef Friend,
Marvin again spoke with you in Leesburg at the Game of Thrones event.

As you may know we have teamed with the local brewery Dragon Hops, who
expressed a deep interest in holding a "Medieval" demo on their property,
located in the heart of town of Purcellville. They have a large parking lot
and a nice side parking lot. I have come to ask that you spread the word
throughout the Barony. We are looking for musicians, bards, merchants, and
FIGHTERS GALORE, both heavy and light. It would be a great honor to have
all of you there. Please come set a tent, speak to the populace of your
fine barony. Strap on armour if you would like or just enjoy the day and
mingle amongst the populace and drink beer from Dragon Hops and eat fine
foods prepared by Chef Marvin.

The owners of Dragon Hops have also expressed to make this a yearly demo.
They have made mention of moving it next year to their farm where they grow
the hops. Its over 100 acres and would like for the SCA to do a Weekend
long "demo", where they can allow the mundane in to view but "we' the SCA
will be center stage in the fighting, sort of like the Highland Melees of
old in Hagerstown.

I look forward to hearing from you. As soon as the flyer is finalized,
which should be tonight, I will email that as well.
