[Moo] Stierbach Baronial Polling Candidates

Greetings,

Please see below the Letters of Intent from our two candidates for the
Steirbach Baronial polling. Also, please remember to sign up for electronic
polling.

Unto the reigning and former Royalty, and to the populace of the Barony of
Stierbach, do we, Herr Wulff Nuremberger and Herrin Genefe Wölfelin, send
our most sincere greetings!

By this missive, we express our desire to be considered in the next polling
for Baron and Baroness of Stierbach. We feel that our support of all
pursuits, Arts & Sciences and Martial activities alike, will allow us to
guide and grow well this, our Barony.

We have been in the Society for nearly 20 years each, pursuing many
endeavors and skills, practicing varied disciplines and arts, and
interacting with many who have come to be counted as friends. Although we
have recently taken time away from the Society for family and mundane
pursuits, our hearts remain with the Barony and its interests.

In all that we have done, and in all that we have learned, we feel the
greatest goal of these current Past Times is to pass one’s skills to
others. Through this, not only do all an activity’s participants advance in
their understanding and abilities, but the group sees its populace grow,
and with it, so does the Society.

As Baron and Baroness, we would act as champions of the Barony, promoting
the achievements of the populace, and bolstering the virtues of Stierbach
to newcomers and Royalty alike.

Our intentions as Baron and Baroness include:

· Traveling frequently throughout the Barony to attend practices, meetings
and events

· Learning of the many pursuits studied amongst the peoples of Stierbach

· Working with the the youth of Stierbach to encourage their curiosity,
advance their skills, and recognize their achievements

· Providing our own skill and experience to newcomers and established
populace alike, giving of ourselves to the benefit of the Barony, Kingdom,
and Society

· Supporting and aiding the growth of the reigns of Their Majesties

As Baron and Baroness, we will not only take on the mantle of overseers of
the Barony, but also continue to learn from and support those around us,
whether from our fair Stierbach or elsewhere.

Unto Their Majesties Atlantia, Anton and Luned, and to the populace of the
great barony of Stierbach do Duke Ragnarr Blackhammer and Domina Lynette
Semere send greetings and announce our intention to be considered for the
next baronage of Stierbach.

Both of us have experience serving as both a Coronet and a Crown. Ragnarr
has reigned five times and Lynette twice and they both were the landed
baronage of Dun Carraig for five years. We understand the amount of work
that goes into being baronage as well as the sacrifices of time, money, etc
to try to do the job well. We both think it is all worth it when you get to
see worthy people recognized. Beyond our time as royalty and baronage we
both have many other qualifications that help when it comes to being the
voice of the Crown to the people and the people to the Crown.

Lynette is a member of the Order of the Laurel with an emphasis on
costuming and metal casting. She is also a member of the Order of the
Pelican. She has experience doing fundraising, running waterbearing,
autocratting events and retaining to name a few of the numerous things she
does. She is also Companion of the Yew Bow for her skill in combat archery
as well as being authorized in both armored and rapier combat.

Ragnarr is a member of the Order of the Chivalry as well as the Order of
the Pelican. He has experience autocrating, marshaling, heralding and
setting courts and lots of set up and take down experience. He is also a
Companion of the White Scarf for his skill in rapier and of the Sea Stag
for his teaching of the fighting arts.

We believe that a good set of baronage needs to try to champion all facets
of the barony. This doesn't mean that they need to do all of the things but
they do need to support them. Between the two of us we have interests in
armored combat, rapier, archery, heraldry, and many different arts and
sciences. We are both even equestrian authorized.

It is our opinion that there are two main roles for the baronage while
serving in the role. One is to be the pipeline to and from the Crown. That
can be the sharing of concerns from the Crown to the populace or making
sure that Their Majesties are aware of a particular person and the work
they are doing. This leads into the second role, recognizing worthy people.
We both feel strongly that this is one of if not the primary job
responsibility of being landed baronage.

It is our honor to put our names forward for consideration for this
important role and responsibility. We do so with an understanding of what
the job entails and a willingness to step forward and serve the barony and
it's people. We know that no matter who Their Majesties choose the barony
will be well served.
