That said note that the first two Satrudays in July are the weekends of 4th of july week not outstanding times to hold an event. the 15th is Kingdom Archery which will be a much worse conflict for us than Assesment. We could move it to the 29th and make it a last chance to aurthorize along with all the other stuff we do, if we decide that we have to move. also note that we have been getting some of the non SCA fighting groups for our events and they will come in spite of assesment, also we have the woods battle. All in all unless we can find an open weekend moving does not make a lot of sence.</P>
<P>That all said as long as we keep July 15th open, "Lord willing and teh creek don't rise" House Wolfhou will be at Baronial Birthday. </P>

<DIV>I agree that changing the date is probably the best idea. As for dates, TRH moved Assessments for a reason. So we need to see which of the 3 weekends in July is actually best. We had a good turnout last year for "last chance to authorize" in our backyard. We can add this for all weapon forms to the event. After DtG, several Roman, Galatians, and Marklands want to come and participate. Turgeis is in contact with them to let them know what we decide.</DIV>

The Barony of Black Diamond has scheduled this fighting event for the same weekend as our Baronial Birthday. </SPAN></FONT></P>
