first guild meeting. During said meeting the question was raised about the
possibility of attracting anyone interested in learning to make either bobbin
lace or tatting through SCA channels. I volunteered to investigate on behalf of
the Piedmont Lacers Guild of Virginia, since I have been active in the SCA in

used within the period timeframe, and therefor could be a topic of interest. I
do not know if a lace-making group is already in place in Stierbach. The
President of the PLG of Virginia has indicated to me that she would not be
available to travel outside of her area of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City
w:st="on">Remington</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">Virginia</st1:State></st1:place>,
in the next several months to teach beginning bobbin lace, as she is up to her
shirt collar in wedding preparations for her daughter. So any interested
parties would need to make the drive to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Remington</st1:City>,
<st1:State w:st="on">VA</st1:State></st1:place>, to learn the basics of bobbin
