face="Times New Roman">There is a team competition. Teams will consist of
no more than 5 combatants. Two teams will face each other at the
Gate. Each will take a turn at attacking the Gate and then Defending the
Gate. Victory goes to the team who survives. </FONT></P>

larger team melee practice at the Gate. The Gate will be in a
different location this year that should allow <B

face="Times New Roman">Rapier combat at Defending the Gate will be fought in
teams of 5.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Each team may consist
of 5 members with no more than 3 White Scarves.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Combat will be in a wooded area.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Each team will have a flag that the
other team will attempt to capture.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Each team will also have a “gaol” as well.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Upon being killed, that fighter is
“captured” and escorted to gaol.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>The “prisoner” must be escorted by the person who killed them, or by
someone else on their team.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>In
order to be “liberated” from gaol, someone from the captured fighter’s team must
physically “tag” them and escort them back to the “home” spot.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>At that point they are now able to
resume trying to capture the opponent’s flag.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">Archers, one and all, young and old, skilled and novice,
are invited to the first target archery event of the 2010 Season. We have
targets to entertain and challenge all levels. Be part of a team to score points
for your Barony, Shire, etc. </FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">Youth are encouraged to attend and participate on a
team--the team will earn an extra point for a youth participant. In addition to
the team competition, there will be a youth competition with a special prize
awarded to the highest scoring youth, age 14 or under. All youth who participate
will receive a prize.<BR><BR>Royal Rounds will begin at *<?xml:namespace prefix
= st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:time Hour="10"
Minute="0">10:00 a.m.</st1:time> for those who would like to update their rank.
The competition will begin at <st1:time Hour="11" Minute="0">11:00
