Consider that the "Grand Council", established to<br>"advise" the Board
on ways to improve the Society after the disaster in the early<br>1990's, has been totally and utterly ignored. It might as well not exist.<br><br>I suggest you take a good look at the way the Board actually operates: decisions<br>first, opinions solicited after the fact, discussions still later if at all.<br><br>This crisis - and I think I'm not exaggerating to call it a crisis - will not be<br>resolved from the top down. Pressure for change has got to come from the bottom up,<br>or there will be no change - and the crisis will become another and worse disaster.<br><br><br><br></pre></div>
