The <b>Battle of Poitiers</b> was a major battle of the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundred_Years%27_War" title="Hundred Years' War">Hundred Years' War</a> between England and France. The battle occurred on 19 September 1356 near <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poitiers" title=Poitiers>Poitiers</a>, France. It was the second of the three great English victories of the war. In honor of this Great victory by English archers, Grimmsfield will have one of its famous Sunday practices! Because of the early evenings, it will begin at 4 p.m. and go till dusk.
