Or would it be better to offer it as a personal gift if they like it, and feel free to use as largesse if they dont have a need? Are there rules or traditions about this? Before I pour my heart into something and then get accidently offended that someone didn't use it as I hoped, is it best to include a note saying, "Gift from Heather the Awesome, you're welcome to keep personally if you have need, or please share with the populace as you see fit." or "Gift from Heather the Magnificent, to you, personally, please never give this away and make sure to sleep with it under your pillow!"</div>
