Subject: Heavy Weapons Fight Practice

Greetings Heavy Weapons Fighters of Ponte Alto!

The heavy weapons fight practice for tomorrow, Sunday, February
1, is still on. The weather will be low to mid 30's, very little wind, and
sunny.

However, participants should wear winter boots or galoshes since as
of late this afternoon there was still up over two inches of snow on
the field and the basketball court - with a thin layer of ice on top.
Thus participants will be fighting or doing slow work in the snow,
except for the small areas at each end of theplayground gazebo
which are clear of snow and ice.

Note: peasants may hurl snowballs at the invading fighters (and
eachother) as long as they wear proper protective gear. Medieval
sleighs may also be used to slide down the hill from the library to
the edge of the courts. The sculpting of a snow knight will not be
discouraged. The restrooms in the library will be available as well
as the nearby outdoor portpotty's.

Hot toddy's will be available at Ye Olde Ledo's Inne (know best for
its pizza) after the day's festivities are over.

Yours in Service,

Duncan The Elder
Ponte Alto Heavy Weapons (and snowball fight) Marshall.

Practice will start at 1:00 and the sun should last on the court until
at least 4:30.
