[Moo] Brewing equipment question

I have a keg that we just never got around to returning to the  brewery.  
After 6 years and 2 moves I have given up getting my deposit  back.
 
So, my question is, can I empty it, clean it and refill it with a home  brew? 
 Can only a comercial operation use this keg?
 
Any suggestions would be welcome.
