Here is a preliminary feast menu for Defending the Gate IV, taking place on  
April 9th in the Canton of Sudentorre (mka Fredericksburg, VA).  For more

Appetizers, to be enjoyed during the server auction:

Fried  flatbreads with garlic and spices
Dried apricots and  dates

Olives

1st Remove - Fish Days /  Lent

Baked fish with fresh herbs
Mushrooms with onions and  herbs
Chickpeas in almond milk
Asparagus with shallots and  saffron
Salad of cabbage, fennel, and apples

2nd remove - Meat  Days

Lamb casserole
Rice baked with lamb broth and  saffron
Pottage of onions and bacon
Roast pork with sweet and sour  sauce
Spinach with pancetta and  currents

Sweets

Marzipan pastries
Sweet ricotta  with orange flower water
Biscuits
Candied seeds
