[Moo] Game Night, Friday April 20th

Reminder to all those interested that tomorrow night, Friday, will be
a 'Games Night' at our residence (6899 Ridge Water Ct., Centreville,
VA 20121).  All period games are welcome--if you don't have any, just
come by; we should have plenty.  If we need to we can expand
downstairs.

The night will be arranged with games around the house and people are
encouraged to try them out.  Besides staples such as chess, we have
hnafltafl, senet, xiangqi, fox and geese, and more.  I recommend
people bring what they want to play, and be willing to teach the rules
as needed.  The goals are to learn more about the various period
games, and to have fun.

We don't have much food on hand--dinner will be potluck.

We would appreciate any RSVPs so that we have an idea of how many
guests we might have tomorrow evening.  This is open to everyone, not
just active SCA members, so we encourage you to bring friends.  The
clothing is garb-optional--those who want to wear pre-17th century
clothing are welcome to.  If you wish to wear something, but just
don't have anything yet, we can let you raid our closet upstairs
(which might be considered another period game?)

PS:  Our house has limited parking area just outside.  You can park in
either space marked '73' or in any space marked as a 'visitor' parking
area.  Otherwise you need to park at the beginning of the court and
walk down (though you can drive down and drop off/pick up games as
needed.  I thus recommend coming early.
