Subject: Fwd: Stierbach Baronial Polling

So that you know the Royal Will, Stierbach's baronial polling has  
moved from Feb 1-14 to between Thanksgiving and December 21. A letter  
from Her Majesty is attached below. The start date is a little fuzzy  
because it will begin as soon as I can produce polling letters and  
drop them in the mail.

Financial Committee business: Does the financial committee need to  
approve postage and obtaining mailing labels, or is that already an  
approved expense for the year?

Lady Bianca: I think this falls in line with your wish to get the  
December Bull done early. I hope you're still in town...call you  
tonight if I haven't heard from you over email. Candidate letters  
must go out before the polling may officially begin. I am taking this  
as implied approval of the candidate list and their letters.

Baroness Fiona: What additional documentation (if any) do you need  
from me in order to approve the barony obtaining the mailing labels  
from the Corporate Office?

Candidate Coffee Hours: We should still be able to hold the "Barony  
Town Hall" at the Manassas business meeting(s?) that has been  
discussed. If we want to have a special gathering to do a Candidate  
Coffee Hour in the Abhainn Iarthair region, we'll want to get with  
Alienor soon on good dates/times.

Blitha and Alienor: If you want to get the word out to the cantons,  
please just let them know the polling is going out sooner than  
expected sp that Their Majesties may annouce Their selection at 12th  
Night in accordance with Their Will. I don't expect most of the rest  
of the contents of this message are needed in the way of explanatory  
details.

Collum and Briana: We need to get the word out on this as quickly as  
possible. Court announcement at Holiday Faire? Other communication  
methods? The seneschallate of the barony would appreciate your help  
getting the word out, especially to those who participate but don't  
pay attention to baronial listservs.

Candidates: Thank-you for your input into the process along the way  
and your willingness to serve the barony and the kingdom. I know I  
will see you all at Holiday Faire, and I look forward to seeing as  
many of you as are able to attend at the upcoming Candidate Coffee  
Hours.

Greetings to the Seneschal of Stierbach, Iustinos, from Their  
Majesties Logan and Rowan this 13th Day of November, in the Year of  
Our Lord, 2007.

After much discussion and consultation with our learned Officers,  
please understand that this is Our Will.

The candidates letters can be published in the same way your  
newsletter, The Bull is normally published- electronically. Please  
see that this is accomplished within the next week.

After many inquiries from Our populace please go forward with the  
polling as soon as possible . You should be able to receive the  
labels from Milpitas within 10 business days. If the labels were  
ordered tomorrow We could be done with this polling by December 21,  
2007- an excellent day for new beginnings.

It will then be Our pleasure to announce the new Baron and Baroness  
by 12th Night.

We thank you for your service to Our Barony.
