As there are many A&S minded people put there going to Pennsic I thought
I would pass this along. Please respond directly to Rosamund and not to
me.

==============================
 From Mistress Rosamund Beauvisage:

...finding volunteers to serve at Pennsic. While this general
statement applies to many, many areas of the War, I am writing to the
list specifically about my area of responsibility -- A&S Point and
the Pennsic University.

I'm in need of volunteers to work A&S Point. I'd like to line up as
many people in advance as I can so that our walk-up needs are
minimized. Given the declining rates of spontaneous volunteerism at
War, I think lining up committed folks beforehand is prudent planning.

If you or others you know are good "people persons" (two greeters per
shift), or know their way around a computer and simple databases (one
computer operator per shift), I'd be very grateful if you would
volunteer to work a couple of shiftsw or if you would have others you
can recommend contact me. We need to fill five two-hour shifts (8-10
AM, 10 AM-12 PM, 12-2 PM, 2-4 PM, 4-6 PM) with three people each
shift from 30 July through 9 August (fifteen people per day).

If folks want to think about conflicting activities as they
decide when they want to work, please let them know that the War
Points schedule is up at
<http://www.pennsicwar.org/>www.pennsicwar.org and the A&S Display in
the Barn is on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. If folks send me
information indicating that they want the same shifts, I'll contact
those parties and try to work out alternate, compromise times.

Thanks in advance for helping get the word out.

Cheers--
Rosamund
