Greetings good gentles near and far,

 

I apologize to those of you who receive this message more than one time,
from various lists, but I wanted to ensure that all people dear to our
hearts heard the announcement.  Below you shall find information
concerning Baron Flaithri's prize which will be fought a Pennsic.  It is
my hope that anyone who is able will be there to support him as he takes
on the best from not only our kingdom but the Known World!  As his wife
I will be allowed a place during the beginning of the prize to challenge
my husband, I am sure it will be a most entertaining spectacle!

My Lords and Ladies, pray attend!

 

BE IT KNOWN to all that professe arms that His Excellency of Stierbach,
Baron Flaithri O'Cearnaigh, 39th Companion of the Order of the White
Scarf by the hand of Their Majesties of Logan and Rowan, Companion of
the Bronze Ring of the Middle Kingdom, shall play his Provost's Prize
against his fellow Companions of the Order of the White Scarf and
members of the Order of the Bronze Ring, experts all in the subtle Arte
of the Rapier.  The weapons shall include but are not limited to the
single rapier, rapier and dagger, case of rapiers, rapier and buckler,
and the rapier and cloak, according to the code of conduct stated in our
Charter of the Academie d'! Espee.  Those Brothers and Sisters of the
Orders who wish to try their Blade against him but are unable to attend
are asked to send forth a proxy in their stead.

 

This Prize shall take place at noon on Wednesday the 6th day of August
at the Great Pennsic War on the Small Rapier List.  Should the Current
Members of the Order of the White Scarf be satisfied with his
performance, he shall take his oath and become a Provost of Atlantia.
