[Moo] [hartsbane] youth champion

This is a great question, which is why we wanted input from everyone on this.

What Flaithri and I had in mind is a youth who goes above and beyond what is expected in their chosen field.  That way there is one youth champion not one for every discipline.  Also we would want the youth to be of school age, and their parents to agree that they would be up to the task of representing the Barony as well as on occasion being able to process or stand in court with us as such an honor deserves.  We would never do anything unless that parents and the youth feel they would be up to it.  

As far as a competition goes, I am not sure how that would work.  We were hoping for recommendations from adults in the Barony, as well as other youth members on who they feel would represent the Barony the best.

I would support it. The more visible the deserved recognition of the younger generation gets, the better. I'm guessing that the youth champion would either have done enough in the year to be awarded the Order of the Silver Moon more than once, or that he or she had done something really above and beyond call of duty or expectation for his or her age. Correct? Or, do you have a specific competition at Baronial Birthday in mind? How would the relative ages of the possible champions be factored in?
